The Tesla wind farm was part of the Pangaea Life Blue Energy portfolio. Due to an attractive market opportunity, the plant was successfully sold. The sale was carried out in line with an active and value-oriented fund strategy.

Around 100 kilometers south of Bergen is one of the largest wind farms in Scandinavia, the Tesla wind farm with 55 turbines. Situated on a fjord in an exceptional and impressive landscape, TESLA is not only home to the wind turbines, but also offers leisure activities for the local population.

ESG relevance

As part of the building permit process, a comprehensive environmental impact assessment was carried out in 2005 and updated and expanded in 2014. The assessment examined the potential effects on landscape, cultural heritage, recreation, biodiversity, birds, fauna, noise, shadow, land use, infrastructure, and the economy. No significant adverse impacts were identified.
